Join Sarah Thrower in Martin Regional Library's Conference Room to discover why comics and graphic novels make great literacy resources for all ages! For elementary schoolers to adults.

Being able to read and write can be a superpower for anyone, so why not learn by reading about superheroes? Comic books and graphic novels are great tools for improving literacy skills, not just for children but for adults, too!

All ages are invited to this talk on Free Comic Book Day, presented by Sarah Thrower from TCCL's Adult Literacy Service. She'll introduce you to a variety of graphic novels that are available in the TCCL collection and discuss why they make great literacy tools.

Don't forget to pop by the Lecture Room and pick up a few new comics for yourself before or after this program!
