Are you interested in researching your family history and connecting with your ancestry? Have you already done your family history research, but you want to find more ways to connect with your heritage? In this program, join the Genealogy Resource Center staff as we share ways that you can deepen your connections with and honor your ancestors, from visiting ancestral heritage sites, to creating an ancestral altar or ofrenda, to the practice of tea leaf reading! Customers will be provided tea to drink during the program and be encouraged to focus on a particular ancestor while enjoying the tea. At the end of the presentation, staff will interpret the tea leaves and see what we discover.
