Come and learn the basics of 3D modeling and printing using library resources. Registration is required. For teens and tweens.
"Learn at the Library" is a series of programs designed for homeschool students and virtual school students looking for engaging educational activities during the day. This will be the first program in the series and will be used to measure community interest. At this workshop, we will explore the basics of 3D printing at Tulsa City-County Library. We will explore the website Thingiverse to discover free models for printing and customizing. Next, we will use a free online modeling software called Tinkercad to adjust pre-existing models and create our own. An email address is needed to create an account on Tinkercad. Lastly, we will go through the steps of sending a 3D model to the library for printing.
