Join professional genealogist Kate Penney Howard for two presentations on using DNA for genetic genealogy research. Learn how to apply these techniques in your own genealogical research.
11 a.m.-noon — Introduction to Genetic Genealogy

1-2 p.m. — Brick-Wall Case Study
Kate Penney Howard is a genetic genealogist specializing in brick-wall work, High ROH and endogamy. Howard has presented at Rootstech, East Coast Genetic Genealogy Conference, Illinois Genealogical Society, the International Congress on Medieval Studies, NAAP/RTK’s Untangling Our Roots and the General Assembly of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Future speaking engagements include Rootstech 2025 and Ohio Genealogical Society 2025, as well as local library and genealogical society presentations.
