This event will focus on the book Sprouting Wings: The True Story of James Herman Banning, the First African American Pilot to Fly Across the United States by Louisa Jaggar and Shari Becker. Presenters include researcher Pat Smith, TCCL's African American Resource Center Coordinator Larissa McNeil, and Angela Martinez, Broken Arrow Library youth associate.
Participants will receive a free copy of Sprouting Wings.
