Join Dr. Vivian Clark Adams and Ralph Hooks as they explore the strength and perseverance of African American veterans.
Adams, daughter of late Lt. Col. Major Clark who was an Army veteran and troop historian for the 597th Field Artillery Battalion during World War II, will speak to her father's legacy and the achievements of African American military veterans, while promoting his book Derricks' Bridgehead.
Hooks, commander of the Tulsa chapter of the National Association of Black Veterans, will talk more in depth about the topic.
